Tuesday 25 May at 7pm – ‘History for the Future – The Scrapblog’ by Roger Palmer
Roger Palmer is a member of the Hambledon Arts Society History Group. He is a
semi-retired academic with a keen interest in amateur photography and the recording
of local events. Prompted by an event held by the Group he is building on the concept
of the ‘Village Recorder’. His aim is to develop processes and methods for ensuring
that today’s local history – its people and events – are captured and archived for
future generations. He will demonstrate the background to his work so far and share
the insights and resources it has generated.
