David Canniford – Treasurer

David Canniford is the Treasurer of the Hampshire Archives Trust. He was born in Glastonbury, Somerset, and lives in Andover, Hampshire. After a course in Business Studies at Highbury Technical College, Portsmouth, he trained in the same city and joined the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.  He has worked in construction, engineering and wholesale businesses on a variety of accountancy functions. He belongs to the Andover History and Archaeology Society, the Hurstbourne Tarrant Historical Society and the Andover Genealogy Society.  He has a special interest in railways, especially the Great Western Railway.
