New book published about Fordingbridge workhouse with a grant from HAT

In July 2022 awarded Fordingbridge Historical Society £500 to support its publication of ‘A place of last resort; the history of the Fordingbridge Workhouse’. The book looks at the workhouse’s role in the history of the town and surrounding district from the C17th to the present day.
