Celebrating Micheldever Station 1840-2022

It is now 180 (+2) years since the London/Southampton Railway Line was completed and Micheldever Station evolved as a community.

The Dever Society successfully applied to HAT for a grant to support the celebration project – this event is part of that project.

The event is being held on Sunday 8th May 2022 between 11.30 am and 4.30pm at Micheldever Railway Station and the Warren Centre, Andover Road, Micheldever Station Hants SO21 3AR

There are many activities to see including model railways, a brass band, children’s games, and a horse-drawn, steam, motor and electric vehicles display

Howard Sprenger from Hampshire Industrial Archaeology Society will speak on 11.45 about Railway History and there will an exhibition illustrating the evolution of the Micheldever Station Community….and don’t miss the hog roast at 1pm.
