We are always happy to come to talk to local history societies and groups about the work of the Hampshire Archives Trust.

We can explain what the Trust does and talk to you and your members about how we can help you, as well as how you can help us to preserve, promote and use the rich archival heritage and material we have in Hampshire.

We have helped and continue to help numerous local history groups in all manner of ways: with the costs of publishing local history books or digitalising their archives; providing recording equipment for oral history projects; helping to purchase and preserve archival collections; and much else. We work closely with the Hampshire Record Office, who have one of the best collections of documents and film archives in the country, and the two Record Offices in the Cities of Portsmouth and Southampton with their wonderful archives.

There is lots of information about how we support organisations like yours on the grants page of our website: https://hampshirearchivestrust.co.uk/grants

If you would like to arrange a talk to your group from one of our Trustees, please contact us: secretary@hampshirearchivestrust.co.uk
