Wellow school log books to be digitised

east wellow church and churchyard

Wellow school was built on land given by Florence Nightingale’s father William who lived at Embley Park. Florence was a regular visitor to the school and appears in the school log books. The school is nearly 150 years old and the log books are to be scanned and deposited in Hampshire Record Record Office. HAT is delighted to support the project and has awarded £240
